The Process
What to Expect for Your Bridal Mehndi
Consultation & Booking
We begin with a detailed consultation to understand your vision, cultural traditions, and design preferences. Share inspiration images or let us create something entirely unique for you.
Design Planning
Based on our consultation, we sketch a custom design layout that incorporates your chosen motifs, patterns, and personal elements. We refine every detail until it feels perfect.
Henna Application
On the day of your appointment, sit back and relax as we carefully apply your bridal mehndi using our premium organic henna paste. The session typically takes 3–6 hours for full bridal coverage.
Drying & Aftercare
Once applied, the paste needs to stay on for 6–8 hours for maximum colour. We’ll provide aftercare instructions and a lemon-sugar sealant to help deepen the stain to a rich, dark colour.

Bridal Henna Aftercare Tips
Follow these tips to achieve the darkest, longest-lasting bridal mehndi stain.
Keep the henna paste on for at least 6–8 hours. Leaving it overnight produces the deepest stain.
Apply the lemon-sugar sealant we provide to keep the paste moist and in contact with the skin.
Avoid water on the hennaed area for 12–24 hours after removing the paste.
Gently scrape off the dried paste — do not wash it off with water.
Apply coconut oil or olive oil to the design to protect and deepen the colour.
Avoid chlorinated water, harsh soaps, and excessive hand washing for the first 48 hours.
The stain will start as a bright orange and darken to a rich maroon or chocolate over 24–48 hours.
Common Questions
Bridal Henna FAQs
We recommend booking your bridal mehndi appointment 1–3 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season (May–September). This gives us time to discuss your design preferences, schedule a trial if desired, and ensure availability for your date.
For the deepest, richest stain, apply your bridal mehndi 2 days before the wedding ceremony. The paste is left on for 6–8 hours (overnight is ideal), and the colour deepens over 24–48 hours from a bright orange to a dark maroon or chocolate brown.
A full bridal henna session typically takes 3–6 hours depending on the intricacy and coverage of the design. This includes both hands (front and back) and feet. We recommend setting aside a full afternoon or evening so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
Absolutely! Every bridal design is fully customized to your preferences. We can incorporate traditional motifs, your love story, cultural symbols, the groom’s name or initials, and elements that match your wedding theme. We’ll work together during the consultation to plan every detail.
Yes, we offer bridal henna trials so you can see a sample of the design style, test the stain on your skin, and make any adjustments before the big day. Trials are recommended 2–4 weeks before the wedding and are charged separately.
